Looking to have a animated character created that will be used to describe attractions at our outdoor museum, the character would need to have that iconic Australian Swagman look and be suitable for viewing by younger audiences. This character would serve as the primary source of conveying information (Narrating a story or description) through our augmented reality project, so the character would need to walk onto the screen, wave/greet the user, move to the corner of the screen and perform some minor changes in body positioning and facial changes to simulate speaking for up to 70 seconds. A loop that could be altered by us to accomodate variations in time for the narration would be ideal. The animation/character would not be the primary focus of the final product and as such we would expect his position to occupy no more than a small section in the bottom left or right of the screen, the end result is expected to be displayed on mobile devices. A cartoon style depiction of an Australian Swagman, complete with wide brimmed hat with strings and corks attached, the swag on the back being seen when he first entered the screen would be great, although this could be removed or not visible after he moves to the corner for his narrative.
