One lifetime, three careers

I am working in Business for 54 years and within this period of time I have had three different careers. I worked for 30 years in the drinks industry where the highlights were my involvement in the development and launch of Baileys Irish Cream in 1974. Later, in 1997 I spent 3 years in the USA working on the integration of Grand Metropolitan & Guinness when Diageo Plc was created. In 2001 I took early retirement from Diageo Plc and set up a Project Management business in the property sector, with a colleague. The property business collapsed in 2008-2011 resulting in our property ventures ending up in NAMA which took us nine years to exit. After the collapse of the property business in 2009 we set up a Business Mentoring business which is what I still do at the age of 72.([login to view URL])

There are many insights and stories that I can recount along this 54 year journey so far, which I would like to document and possibly share.
