Sr ETL Developer US Based

You do ETL, and you want someone to pay you for it. We pay ETL developers, and we want someone to fill our GTeam FZ LLC Sr. ETL Developer role. Let’s talk.

What we pay:

$30/hour, with a $300 fixed-price payment for a trial job if that trial leads us to hire you. We work with you through one of several approved staffing and payment platforms which will charge a percentage fee on your gross earnings, but you understand how those are. For United States citizens and permanent residents, we pay $24/hour because we have to cover W-2 processing.

Who we pay:

We need a Sr. ETL Developer as a part time consultant, who can design, develop, and maintain robust processes to integrate various data sources into Trilogy existing databases.

What you would do:

Design ETL processes using open source ETL tools like Talent or Pentaho, to extract structured and unstructured data from various data sources.

Develop highly efficient and robust ETL processes that load data into the Trilogy database structure

Participate in designing the analytical database

Design and implement processes to control and monitor data quality

Perform the ETL system testing and migration to production. You would be responsible for the final production implementation

Oversee the data loading production, and resolve any issues through troubleshooting and quick diagnosis

Prepare system procedures, system operating guides, contingency and recovery plans, and maintain technical application level documentation

What you’ve done before:

3 years of ETL process design and development

1 year of Talent or Pentaho

Java programming experience would be great

In-depth work with relational database and SQL

DBA experience and PostgreSQL database knowledge would be great

Hours we want to pay you for:

At least 20 hours work per week

How to qualify:

Show us who you are. We need verifiable identification, online skills tests, and a brief Skype video interview. Sorry, this part is not paid, but it won’t last more than a week, and if you’ve got the motivation, you’ll be done in a few hours.

Try out the job. During a one-week fixed-price trial assignment, prove to us that we should give you the full-time position of 40 hours/week at the job’s hourly rate. We’re looking for progress and dedication; if you show that, we may have other positions in GTeam FZ LLC for you even if you don’t get the assignment quite right.
