I need a signup process for our site to be designed. The site is being developed in wordpress. Something similar is [login to view URL] site.
The concept for the page is to allow visitors to select a plan and complete the signup process.
Stage 1. Select the Plan
The first selection will be select the plan - At this point there are only 2 plan option. It needs to allow for quantity so if a client has 3 devices and wants to purchase for all devices they can. I was thinking a quantity box.
I would prefer if it is designed so we can easily modify content in the plan selection boxes or add extra plans in future
We can apply a discount on multiple devices and easily adjust the discount.
Stage 2. Client details
Client will need to fill out their details, I have purchased an add on wp-client a management portal ([login to view URL]) so if you have experience with it that would be great. Ih has a client registration page which i'm hoping you can use. The information we need to collect are -
Full Name
Address
Phone Numbers - Home/Mobile
Email address:
Preferred password: (Minimum 8 characters including letters & numbers)
Their email will be the username
Preferred contact method – email/phone/sms and time of day…morning/afternoon/night
Stage 3. Collect payment
The plan prices are quite small $4 or $5/month and for that reason we have decided to take yearly payments upfront.
From the plan selection it will calculate the yearly price per quantity apply whatever multi device discount and display the total to debit.
I would also like like it calculate pro-rata if we set the billing date 1st of Jan and someone signs-up mid year it will charge them untill how ever long of the year is remaining.
The payment method options will be
Credit card debit via paypal or other gateway. Once the debit is complete sms and email the client a copy of the receipt.
Extras –
• This is a new site. My sister is designing the site thru wordpress and themes she already owns and putting up all the content etc. She is not at the coding stage point hence the need for this project. If you feel there is a better site engine we should be using please express this, however not for the sole reason that you cannot use wordpress.
• During the site signup process is it possible to have information we collect be the login details for the member section or perhaps create a client number so we can identify clients easily
• Once logged in there is an account section that they can edit details, access to their product purchase and In the member section display their purchase access to members area, forum, insights and utilities(alot of this should be available with the wp-client addon.)
