This is the second of two wordpress plugin modifications I am posting. I have put them to bid independently of each other but will accept a joint bid for both though my preference is to keep them separate.
Like the other post, this project is a simple modification of an existing wordpress plugin. Of my two projects, this one is more important but far easier to accomplish.
Background:
The plugin, as provided, allows for the easy creation and output of tabular data in wordpress posts or pages. It is functioning and in good working order.
Modifications:
The only modifications desired are to the default css output of the plugin.
Currently, tables generated by the plugin have a bland look. This project will define a new default presentation for all tables created with the plugin. I am providing most of the desired css and the source of the plugin in attachments so this task should be easy and suited for any programmer comfortable with wordpress and interested in a quick transaction and easy feedback.
- the tables will have the look of the icubed display at the following table showcase: [url removed, login to view]
-output tables will look exactly like the icubed example provided, including the same hover effects but there will be two small exceptions - links should not show underlines and the table should not have borders/outlines. The CSS for icubed is attached to to this post along with the plugin.
-modifications to the plugin, beyond the css file, if any are necessary to insure hover functionality etc works, must be clearly documented in change log and if possible made in such a way that they will not be lost or harmed with future upgrades to the plugin's core functionality.
Budget:
As with my other post, I am not specifying a budget for this project. I will leave it for programmers to review the plugin and make a bid based on what they believe is reasonable. Kindly respect that and do not ask me to provide a budget guideline in private messages. As guidance, I do expect this will be an inexpensive bid as I am providing source for both the plugin and the css. I expect to pay a reasonable, fair, rate for the work involved with fair being determined by the market and the amount of time this will take to complete. This task is an easy opportunity for feedback for someone comfortable with wordpress, php and css.
Note- the zip file of the plugin contains versions of the plugin in english, french and german. I will only be using the english version and changes need only be made there.
