Hour Difference Between two dates (repost)

I require php/javascript/jquery code to be created which:

A user will select a start and an end date from a datepicker (or something similar) in a form.

- From these selected dates the code will exclude dates that are 1) holidays (set within the code) 2) weekends

- It will return the working hours taken based upon the above dates using "9hrs per day" OR "8 hrs per day" (i.e - 4 days taken at 9 hours equals 36 hours taken)

- The code will create a new row for EACH day from the days selected, set the amount of hours per day for each and then submit in mysql db

(i.e. - if the user selects Feb/10 to Feb/14 - it will create new entries for each day (feb/10,feb/11,feb/12,feb/13,feb/14 - with a value of 9 for each entry the form is submitted using a unique ID so results can be fetched from the DB as necessary. If any dates fall on a holiday they would be excluded)

Project will be required to be completed as soon as possible.
