I am interested in launching a website using a cms system. In a window of the CMS system I would like to have a commerce interface. Therefore, this website I am asking a freelancer to create could run independently of the cms.
The reason I say commerce interface is because it is not a normal shop. I am looking for something that allows the user to customize their purchase. The subject matter of the website is very specific. I would like this commerce interface to consist of a gallery or galleries of images that are specific to this subject matter. The user can browse the galleries to select an image, or upload their own image. Once the user has selected an image they select a tagline or slogan to go with it or create their own. Then the user will pick the product they want the image and slogan printed on. Then, in some cases aka t-shirt they will pick size and color(set options.) Please respond with how you would set this up and what the checkout process would be. I can connect with paypal at first but will need to be able to add in credit card checkouts to reach a wider audience and ease the use of checkout time. I would like users to be able to add images and slogans, but not take them away. I would also like to be able to have the images sent as e-cards(free) with selected slogan.
Please im me with details about how you invision this website, as well as how you anticipate the order process to be for both the end user and the webmaster.
