update Mantis bug tracker from 1.1.6 to 1.2.19

need to update mantis 1.1.6 to [url removed, login to view]
the only problem is that I made some changes in source code, and I cant loose those.
the strategy I´m thinking to update mantis is this :
1 - install fresh mantis 1.1.6
2 - send to a control version system
3 - copy my modified installation
4 - commit to control version
5 - annotate difference between those versions.
6 - install current version [url removed, login to view]
7 - update manually the difference found in step 5
we didnt change too much version 1.1.6
the most important is the time tracking, we create a way to do this "automatic" and we create tabs as a top menu, to add new cases, stopping time counting of current case.
will give you my source code and database backup. I need back the source code of version [url removed, login to view] updated. and any intructions / script to update the database.
