Experienced JavaScript Developer needed for Embeddable JavaScript Widget

PROJECT INFO:

We are looking for an experienced Javascript Developer to

create an embeddable JavaScript widget. Here is a little bit

more information about the project.

We are currently developing ,in house, an item review system

that includes a RESTFUL API for interacting with it from 3rd

party services.

For the first part of this project we require a developer to

create a asynchronous script loader, loading additional

scripts and CSS as needed. Parse the current page for

elements with a particular class, retrieve its id and render

content from our API to the correct DOM element.

Here are some requirements for the project.

We would like to limit or eliminate 3rd party dependencies

as much as possible (i.e. No jQuery should be need to

operate the script). Variables and methods should be

properly namespaced, no unnecessary global variables. The

script should be able to load asynchronously and error out

gracefully if the API or any other service is unavailable.

We will provide various sample responses from our API for

development and testing. Along with a simple mock of how to

display the content.

If the project goes well we will more than likely continue

working with said developer on future projects like this

one.
