India Compensation - CTC Breakup

Currently, my company has different CTC practices and I would like to harmonise the CTC structure and guidelines of my employees in India. I would need your recommendation on harmonising the CTC structure in my company including
1) what are the market practices, laws and prevalence with regards to the pay components in CTC e.g mandatory items and what is common
2) the % or amount for each of the CTC components
The objectives
1) cost neutral to the company and not increasing the current CTC
2) tax efficient for the employee.
You will also need to put on the employees' hat and evaluate the proposal from the employees' perspective
You should be a HR, Reward or Compensation professional with experience with India Compensation.
