AjaxIM Customization

I am starting a new website called cmxt - it is going to be a community website wherby anyone from anywhere can use it. I have downloaded and installed a Instant messenger called Ajaxim which uses Prototype Window Class to display the buddylist when the user logs in - what i need is for a coder to adapt this code to make it also display anopther window so when the user logs in they are displayed with their buddy list and also a news box window which i can edit and put my own text into
