Before bidding, remember, I WILL PROVIDE ALL GRAPHIC DESIGN, only need you to do coding.
This project will go into 3 phases, initial quote is for phase 1, but I also want quote for phase 2 and phase 3. You must code this website with idea in mind that it will need to expand into all 3 phases when finished.
PHASE 1:
We will be building a niche web directory website, it will be combination of features available on these two web directories: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
This will be a normal web directory, but with a few extra features.
1) It will include ability to dynamically search for listings by city, state and zip code such as [login to view URL] has, but it will also have static listing pages with links. Must have SEO friendly pages like this: [login to view URL] can not be dynamic pages. You must understand how to use mod-rewrite to complete this project.
Features we want from dirbull include:
Rank websites with higher PR rating higher in search results, featured listings will always be on top but within the regular listings order of priority is based on PR rank of website.
On backend we will write a script to re-check PR of all listed websites manually and re-index all websites again automatically. So for example, if one website rank was PR4 when they sign up, but I run PR script next month and script find that now it is PR3, it will rank website below all PR4 websites.
So indexing algorithm is like this:
Top: Featured
Next: High PR to Low PR
Final: If many website have same PR, organize them by showing newest listing on top
Pagination: max 32 listings per page including featured listing and regular listings, 2nd page will be /page-2/ and so on.
Payment facility to accept payments for listings using PayPal, or Google Checkout, pricing tiers are featured listing and regular, and listing duration has multiple pricing values like 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year pricing with ability to offer discount for longer period.
Also free listing is offered with link to directory, but free listing will be listed on the bottom below regular listings, and there will be no URL link provided for free listing, but listing owner must link from their website to our website to qualify for free listing.
