Save Website Form Data

We have an html/php based website with an html form for visitors to submit information. Every time the user clicks Check Flight to submit the form, I would like to serialize all of the data entered and save it as a flat, timestamped .txt file on the website server and also send an email notification of the serialized form data. It is a very simple site, the single website page with the form is attached with all necessary files ([login to view URL])
