Edit background white/black levels in product photos

Freelancer Image editing ad copy:
I am looking for a freelancer who can take a batch of approx. 1200 pictures per week and change the white levels of the background.
This requires simply opening the image and choosing the "levels" feature within GIMP or Photoshop, then clicking on the darkest point of the background. Some images will become washed out if you choose the darkest point so sometimes you will require a couple of clicks/tries until the picture looks "right". I'm looking for a freelancer who is able to find the "right" white level for each background while working through the images at a fast pace.
We find that we can edit approx. 4-5 pictures/minute, so each week we will have approx 4-5 hours worth of work.
