Hi there - I'm a serial language learner, and fed up with the poor quality of language apps available out there. I am in the process of building my own app, brick by brick, and looking to hire an app developer (design competences would be a plus) to kick start this and follow me throughout the process.
Skills needed will involve iOS app development and design capacities, API connection, database, but also data science, and some AI / machine learning too.
I will not disclose the whole project, and rather will go step by step, but trust aiding I am happy to form a long term partnership with you.
The first two blocks will simply entail :
- a vocabulary list building, pairing (using Mandarin as an example) a) english word, b) chinese character, c) pinyin, d) a picture to lock-in the concept, e) sound (the word spoken).
- a simple quizz module in the form of flash cards, that can memorize the users' score and focus on non learned / more difficult words.
I am based in HK, full time employed, have some solid investment capacities and am willing to work as soon as possible with a solid and trustful partner.
I would much prefer an Asia based developer, mostly for time zone reasons.
