Software Requirements

Introduction

Our company deals in recycling and refurbishing of e-waste. We are checking and refurbishing old mobile phones and then used to sell them to our B2B Retail Partners.

The whole Process involves these major steps

1. Incoming Stock Entry

2. Quality Check

3. Refurbishing

4. Dispatch

5. Return

These steps are described in detail further.

1. Incoming Stock Entry

The incoming stock are opened and entered in the system at this step. The data we need to enter in 2 steps are

1st Step

• Date

• Supplier

• Product Type – Prexo/OpenBox/Imported/Others

• Qty

• Value

• Lot No. – (Auto Generated)

2nd Step

• Brand – (Select From Available)

• Model - (Select From Available)

• RAM - (Select From Available)

• ROM - (Select From Available)

• WSN – (Scan)

• IMEI – (Scan/Enter)

• Cost –

• Physical Condition – Damaged/Okay

2. Quality Check

Need 2 Levels of User Accounts, QC Engineer and Team Lead. Stock will be issued by Manager to QC Team Lead, he/she will then further distribute in QC Engineers. At every step the barcode on the stock will get scanned.

QC Engineers will check each product under 30+ Points and will mark each points after checking. He will also click pictures of physical condition and will upload.

After a QC Engineer will complete QC, the stock will go to the Team Leader for Audit, he/she will recheck the stock and will mark it final pass or fail.

Pass product will go to stock, and fail will go to Refurbishing Team.

There will be a daywise performance analysis of every QC Staff.

3. Refurbishing

Need 2 levels of User accounts, Repair Technician and Team Lead. The rejected from QC will get passed to Team Lead for Assessment, he will categorize in

• Display Issue

• Touch Issue

• Mic/Speaker

• Battery

• Camera

• Fingerprint

• Network

• Software

• Others

Team Lead will further decide on refurbishing in 4 options

• Direct to Repair

• Need Parts

• BER

• Return to QC

Direct to repair will get assigned to a technician of choice.

Need parts will go to a list of parts that are to be ordered

BER will go to store for cannibalization

Return to QC will go back to QC Team Lead.

4. Dispatch

Every Day all the QC Pass stock list will get generated at the closure of operation with price.

This will be shared to our clients, who will place the orders. Those orders will be dispatched the next day.

All the orders will be formed by Manager, and will be sent to Dispatch Team Lead. He/she will then send the order for a Final Before Dispatch QC. After QC he/she will assign the products to a packing staff.

The packing staff will verify the physical condition and Content of the shipment with Bill, and will click pictures to upload.

He will pack the shipment and will update in system.

Manager will update the AWB in the system, and client will receive an email and a SMS for the same.

5. Return

Every return will be raised in system by Manager. The return AWB will have to be updated once dispatched by customer.

After receiving return, it will be opened and checked within 24 hours.

QC and Repair of Return items will follow separate route.

All repairs will have 3 outcomes

• Send to Repair

• Refund to Customer

• Replacement to customer
