help with my learning project.

ok , im currently learning java , but i need something to be done with it.

simple database applet , it connects to microsoft access database on a drive via jdbc.

2 text fields like name / age

6 buttons (next,previous,update,save ,delete and print report)

and thats it, i need it to allow 2 or more users to save/delete entries in the microsoft access database at the same time without needing to close the program.

a trick i used to do in vb was , load the database to rs , when i needed to save/delete stuff from the database, i connect to it, delete or save then close the connection.

but i can't do this in java.

so i'll pay for the small source code which probably wouldn't take an expert like 5 minutes.

ok, due to the questions i have been asked a lot, sorry if i wasn't clear cuz it is the 1st time writing for a project offer on this site, and english isn't my native language. anyways. i'll post a full detailed clear points of what i want sorry if i caused you any confusion.. the program will be a small database program, that consists of 2 text fields or text areas .

4 combo boxes, each one has a label. only those which have been clicked on should be displayed in the 2nd text field
seperated by a comma , and ends with a dot.

please, i dont want anyone to post me something like this

suppose i have 10 check boxes, i dont wanna put every combination of the check boxes, instead , i'd rather have an array + for / if loop

the lay out should be almost the same, i want to have to be able to set coordinates of each component thats why i set those check boxes and button that way , i dont want to use a default layout, instead, i want something like .setbound (x,y,w,h)

the buttons are pretty self explanatory next, to move to next record
previous
new for new record
update to update an existing record
save , save record (it should have an if method, if boolean is true, then this is a new record , insert row, if boolean is false, just update the record entry)
delete, just deletes a record. but once you delete a record, u need to move to the previous one, however, suppose you have 10 records, and you delete from record five, and it goes to the previous one until it reaches record 0, but it wont show that there are other records. so delete , until there are no previous records. but if there are other records , move to the last record , if there are no more records, just show a msg "no more records" and clear the text boxes.

print report , just print a report of the records "doesnt matter any default layout"
grid view, just the default grid

now what is causing me not to have hired anyone yet. some people say this cannot be done with microsoft access database, since ms access is a single user database, meaning if i connect to it and leave it open, my friend wont be able to enter some data unless i close it, the trick is when you want to delete/save you open the connection , put the data , update the result set and then close the connection so the database will only be open at the moment when you want to save/delete records , which is 1 millisecond click.

the connection method is throught jdbc.
so if you can confirm that you can make it work with access , and do those things . just send me a msg .
