PROJECT: Color Digital / Vector Illustrations for a Young Children's Book (4-8 year-old) Entitled:
“The Dogs that Helped Santa Save Christmas. A Tale of McHenry & Finn McCool”
I am looking for a talented illustrator, who can complete a set of 17 digital / vector illustrations for a children’s book for children ages 4- 8 years. Every child, young and old, dreams that their pet is special and has hidden magical powers. The “Dogs that Helped Santa Save Christmas”, is a children’s book that brings this dream to life by telling the “Seuss-like” tale of two puppies from the North Pole who use Christmas magic to save the day and to win the hearts of Santa and children alike. It is an amusing and memorable Christmas tale whose main characters provide important lessons in kindness, courage, and faith.
Project Deliverable: The project scope is 17 full-scene illustrations described in the attached Illustrator Briefing. Since the tales of McHenry and Finn McCool are envisioned as a series of books that will entertain children and their parents and teach important life lessons there will likely be multiple jobs for the right illustrator.
Project Time-frame: Once the author and illustrator sign the Illustrator Agreement and Art Release form the completed illustrations shall be provided within 1 month.
Project Conditions: The illustrations shall not have been previously used anywhere, nor can they be used in the future. I am requesting copyright/ commercial rights. A transfer of copyright agreement will be signed. In addition to the source files, I am requesting original source files and JPG files for all illustrations for the final submission.
Payments: Payments will be released based on agreed milestones.
