The project is based around web development with the purpose of creating a single page web application (SPA). The SPA is a recipe website where users can upload a title, photo and description of their desired dishes. The front end must be written in HTML, CSS and Javascript (it is not an app). Javascript must also be used running on Node.js on the server. The front end of the site must communicate with the back end using either AJAX, JSONP or WebSockets. Third party libraries and frameworks are acceptable but refrain from using any that "do most of the work for you", as these ones are not permitted. A database must be used to store data from the web page and can be any database of your choice excluding from MongoDB (this database is specifically ruled out, any other is fine).
