I am looking for someone who can write some kind of application to export an Excel spreadsheet into Google Earth Placemarks.
Ideally this would take the form of an add-in for excel as the process for the end user needs to be as seamless as possible (at the very least a VBA script that be assigned to a button on the spreadsheet)
There is some maintenance scheduling info that will need to appear when the placemark is clicked on.
The final KML will need to be accessed as a 'Network Link' in Google Earth.
Example of the excel sheet is included in the files.
A basic check is included that would determine the style of PIN created.
If the dates entered into the spreadsheet are outside the specified range, the pin would change to highlight this, normal pins might be yellow (represents the customer) with a green dot, sites that are "out of date" would be yellow with a RED dot.
Examples of these differing pins are also included in the files.
