Launch new Gmail message from within MS Access

I have a customers booking database set up in Microsoft Access. I'd like a button on one of my data entry forms, when executed would create a new email in Gmail (which would be already open and logged in inside Chrome), and insert details from some of the fields on the data entry form. For example, it would need to add the customer's email into the "address", and other data into the body of the email. Would also be great to have it automatically attach a file to the email.
I'm not sure that this is entirely possible. I think it would need to execute VBA initially, but not too sure how the variables could be sent to Gmail etc. Open to suggestions, but it must come from within Access and end up in Gmail.

First to remove your confusion, YES, it is possible to send Gmail using Microsoft access. Please specify which version of access you are using. Once i give you the flow of work, you can award the project.
