I've got a website that is currently showing a random banner advert at the top of each page.
The banner is chosen from a mysql table.
The website is a real estate website and I want to show banner adverts from the same areas people are searching from.
There ar 3 tiered levels of location.
1. Region
2. District
3. Suburb/town.
For each Suburb/town I will have from 1-10 adverts. If a browser searches a specific suburb I want to only show a random ad from that suburb if they search a whole district then I want to show a random ad from any of the suburbs within the district and if they search an entire region then a random ad from any suburb within that region will be shown.
I also need to count how many times each advert is shown and how many times it is clicked.
I've attached most of the site for your perusal and also the sql database.
