automation for a Fullscreen web application

We need a monitoring service to monitor an WEB based fullscreen KIOSK solution running as a HTA.

The primary of this service is to assure that the HTA applications is always running, and No popups and disturbing things appears in front of the application.

The service should:

Monitoring and deal with Event handling for .hta and monitoring and event handling of a local printer.

The desired application should run on Windows XP SP2, written in VB / VB.NET

The desired application goal is to monitor an .hta and to take some predefined actions if some predefined

events occur.

1. The .hta must always be started on PC start

2. The .hta must always be kept as the Frontmost fullscreen window (Always On Top, Always FullScreen)

3. All other windows, event pop-ups and messages should be kept in the background (never visible)

4. If the .hta somehow is closed, it must immediately be started again, if this does not succeed, then an alternative

.hta (local webpage) should be started.

5 If the .hta content encounters an error and displays the Interet Explorer error page, then the .hta should be

restarted, if this does not resolve the problem, then an alternative .hta should be started.

6. The application should also be able to monitor the status of a printer. If the printer somehow fails, the application

should: 1. close the .hta previously mentioned, [url removed, login to view] an alternative .hta, 3. send a http request to a URL.

7. If somhow the network connection to the webserver is not existing - and alternative web page (hta) should be presented.

all such parameters should be configurable.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
