Custom Online Calculator

The purpose of this project is to code a custom pricing calculator. The Calculator has already been designed & built in HTML/CSS, but needs functionality added to it. Also looking for clean well commented code, so that values can easily be changed in future.

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Section 'Step 1'

- User has the option to select either a Monthly or Yearly plan, each of these selections has a set price point, the monthly plan is $299 & yearly plan $259.

Section 'Step 2'

- The text box in this section allows users to enter how many additional licenses they would like, if any.

Section 'Step 3'

- This is where the calculations get done.

IN-DEPTH REQUIREMENTS

Step 1 Section

- No selection should be made by default when page is loaded

Step 2 Section

- The text box in Step 2 should only accept numbers and should be limited to 3 digits.

- If a user tries to enter anything other than a number a small error message should appear beside the text box.

Step 3 Section

- As the user fills out the form, 'Step 3' should automatically update without the need for a Submit button and without refreshing the page. The user should also be able to go back and change the values in Step 1 or Step 2 without needing to Submit the form and without a page refresh.

- In 'Step 3' where it says 'Monthly Plan' this text should change depending on which option they selected in Step 1 ... so it would say either 'Monthly' or 'Yearly' Plan. By default it should say 'Select a Plan' ... because initially when this page is loaded no option will be selected in Step 1.

- In 'Step 3' to the right of the 'Monthly Plan' text it says '$XXX' this value should update depending on which option was selected in Step 1. By default it should have the value of $0.

- In 'Step 3' where it says 'XX Additional Licenses' XX should change with the value entered in Step 2 ... So if a user enters the number 20, that part in Step 3 would read '20 Additional Licenses'. By default it should read '0 Additional Licenses' until the user enters in a number in Step 2.

- In 'Step 3' to the right of the 'XX Additional Licenses' text it says '$XXX' this value should update depending on the number entered in the text box of Step 2, and the cost per license. PLEASE SEE THE LICENSE CALCULATION INFO BELOW. By default it should have the value of $0 ... because initially when this page is loaded no number will be in the Step 2 text box. If a user enters more than 85 additional licenses in Step 2 this value will display the text 'Call for pricing'.

- In 'Step 3' where it says '($XX each)' this is a pricing bracket, this value should reflect what price bracket the additional licenses are being charged at. PLEASE SEE THE LICENSE CALCULATION INFO BELOW. If a user enters more than 85 additional licenses in Step 2 this value will display the text '($? each)'.

- In 'Step 3' at the bottom where it says 'Monthly Total $XXX' that value should add the 2 above values for the total. Again this should be updating as the user fills in the form and makes changes. If a user enters more than 85 additional licenses in Step 2 this value will display the text 'Call for pricing'.

1-15 Licenses ($20 per license)

16-35 Licenses ($18 per license)

36-85 Licenses ($16 per license)

Yearly Plan - Additional License Cost

1-15 Licenses ($17 per license)

16-35 Licenses ($14 per license)

36-85 Licenses ($11 per license)
