Automated plate Growth Project Charter.
The system (application) must have a front end (User Interface)
from which user would upload the plate definition file (see the description below),
as well as the number of image files each of which corresponds to a particular
plate image. The system should indicate to the end-user (by warning)
if a particular plate's image is not present or unreadable from the given directory.
After processing each bitmap image of each plate the system will produce a "growth"
result report.
Plate Orientation: Plate Wells are numbered from the top left corner down to the lower
right corner. However, the image is made each plate is turned around its vertical axis,
so the A1 well of the plate's image in the Upper right corner, and H12 is at the lower
left corner. The system must internally remap the wells while producing
a resulting "growth" report.
Output:
The desired tabular report will indicate PLATE, WELL, and the growth result in the binary mode
(GROWTH/NO GROWTH). It would be very useful to the end user to produce a visual
color-coded plate view (for each plate in the definition file)
with wells labeled with corresponding sample names and the growth displayed in
green color while NO growth in redcolor , and GROWTH of EMPTY samples indicated
in YELLOW color.
Plate Definition File describes the content of each well in each of
(8x12) 96 well-plates,
having 3 tabulated columns: PLATE, WELL and SAMPLE with HEADERS.
Wells are defined as RowColumn, where rows are A..H and columns are 1..12.
Example:

PL1 A10 EMPTY
PL1 A11 EMPTY
PL1 A12 SMP32

SAMPLE Values are arbitrary, except the value EMPTY that indicates
that sample was not placed in the particular well for growth.
