We're a small product production studio and we're going to launch a new brand in Japan that carries small accessory items.

The theme of the brand is a cast of cute animal characters (in Japanese style). We're looking for illustrators to design the characters and as well, create individual designs based on these characters for the products. The illustrator / character design role is project-based and can potentially be extended to become a long-term role.

We're looking for submission of any 1-2 of these animals:
. Hamster / Hedgehog / Cat / Polar Bear / Wild Boar

Selection criteria will be:
. Cute, likable and polish
. Stand out from the already-established characters in the market (e.g. Hello Kitty, Rilakuma, etc)
. Interesting concepts of the character(s)
