Guest Room Renovation Concept
As it was clear from the beginning that measures were not exact and everything had to be extrapolated, this has to be considered a concept far from a precise scale. The idea is purely zen in style, but avoiding all common places and going straight to the basic concept: very clear, very illuminated, totally uncluttered and monochrome with a few colored focal points to draw the eye without overwhelming it. I decided to get rid of the decks: they were very small to be practical in any sense for a guest room and they are always going to be darkening the room and serve no other purpose than being a deposit. And you don't want to make your guests feel like you're accommodating them in a deposit. I modeled all furniture from the Copenhagen Living line, check them out at copenhagenliving.com, they fit the style perfectly. In the third image you'll find a detail that is a "must have" for a modern guest room: an elegant frame with a welcoming message and the wifi password for your house.

Finally, I added two big sky roofs composed of transparent bricks for durability and with blinders to allow darkening the room when needed. Color palette is limited to white and Pantone Rice Brown, again, to keep everything as clear as possible. I hope you like the idea and good luck with that renovation!
