This is DOOM Nodebuilder which I wrote in C++ in 2022. It generates a Binary Space Partition(BSP) and a Blockmap for maps made for the classic 1993 video game DOOM, as all the levels for the game required special pre-processing. It was a fun but tricky project to make, as it required lots of math and geometry knowledge. For the BSP it recursively divides the map, which is composed of line-segments, in half, splitting any intersecting lines and storing all the data in a binary-tree. It does this until the map is made of only convex polygons. For the Blockmap it then divides the map into squares and creates a list of what lines pass through each square. The animations are generated using SDL2 and Cairo for drawing the anti-aliased lines and polygons.

This is a Steganography Tool that I made in 2021. It's able to hide a file inside the pixel date of an image! In the example, in the picture of the Camaro on the left, there is actually the complete text of the novel Frankenstein(Excerpt shown on the right) hidden in the picture! But in addition to just concealing the data, the program also encrypts it before hand! It internally works by first padding the input data with PKCS #7. It then generates an encryption key from a user-entered password string using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 which is then used to encrypt the data using AES-256 in CBC mode. Also included in the image is an encrypted header which contains information about the stored file such as it's name, size, and CRC32 checksum of the unencrypted data. The header and data is then hidden in the image by going through each bit and storing it in the least-significant bit of each pixel of the image. All encryption and hash algorithms were implemented using custom DIY implementations.

It was an challenging project, as it required lots of knowledge about low level hardware, processors, graphics, and real-time audio generation. It also included more advanced features such as a console-based debugger, save-states, and a rewind system that allowed you go back in time.
