I am an experienced and creative filmmaker, editor and designer/2D animator. I have produced, written directed and edited multi-awarded short and feature films (theatrical release) and short animations, documentaries, presentations, events, TV shows and adv., music projects, educational projects etc. Born in Athens, Greece. Finished Law School and then Film School, also attended the Master of Arts programme in Columbia University N.Y.

Short animation

I have worked with Sofia before and never will I go to anyone else. Ever. She gets really invested in a project, throws all her thoughts, creativity and passion into devising how best to achieve the aims of the project. She is an excellent story-teller, fantastic at drawing by hand as well as digitally.I absolutely love working with her, it's a joy. I was looking for someone who wasn't 'ordinary' 'run of the mill' 'like everyone else' and I chose really well. :) Don't hesitate, just hire her.

I thank my lucky stars I found Sofia. Once you have her hard work, dedication, passion and creativity on your project, anyone else you hire will be utter crap in comparison. It's my 2nd time working with Sofia and it's been a pleasure from start to end. I really appreciate her creative choices about how to portray a concept in a way that is instantly understandable. Her drawings are fantastic and her animation wonderful and it's so heartwarming to have someone be so enthusiastic and dedicated.

Motion graphics & kinetic text for a training course -- 2

When I saw Sofia's work (before hiring her) I was BLOWN AWAY! I was so impressed by her thoughtful visual choices. It was obvious to me that she really spent time considering how to display everything in the most impactful manner. I raved about her to my clients who were looking to hire someone. She then was hired. She believes I have added to the video by giving her my point of view, as I did have some clear design ideas in beginning but after that first initial framework idea I had, I let her do her own thing and come up with her own ideas. I am so so so so so so so SO impressed by her thoughtfulness and dedication. She has devoted herself to doing this (& it was a long video not your usual short ones) and I am really proud of her end result and how enthusiastic she is and how she loved the challenge of trying new things. I am so happy I met her and if every I need someone to do a video she will be my first call. I recommend her to anyone who doesn't want a boring explainer video....they are looking for someone who will do something interesting, visually impactful and supremely awesome! Like she is. :)
