I've always enjoyed problem solving and troubleshooting. I started playing around with qBasic at 10, and by 12 I had learned C and used it to write a BBS. I moved past my dialup modem to learn PHP and C++, using them to work on websites and MUDs, which are text adventure games for the early internet. I started my career in high school as a CEO at a non-profit tech firm, and from there went to work for the fortune 500 as a professional services agent for a major backup solutions company. For the past decade or so, following a return to university to round out my education, I have been consulting and working on my own projects, including a game engine, functional web and database servers, various parsing and prediction utilities, social engines and much more. I enjoy working on all variety of problems from large to small, because anything that needs solving tends to remind me of all kinds of solutions for other problems I'm working with.
