I have built a small password area using Flash and basic action script (attached). Right now there is a login and password which directs the user to a SINGLE URL. I need to set a new parameter DEFINING FIVE separate URLs to direct people who log in. The current Flash is drawing from an XML defining each user in a single line of code as follows:
<user email ="bknijnenburg" password="elc42961" endMonth="01" endDate="01" endYear="2055"/>
I need one more parameter in there that gives each user a number - 1 through 5 - which will re-direct them to one of 5 pages.
This is the current code on the "submit" button:
on (release) {
lighting_members_xml = new XML();
[login to view URL] = true;
[login to view URL]('[login to view URL]');
[login to view URL] = function(success) {
if (success) {
var userString = [login to view URL];
while (userString != null) {
emailXML = ([login to view URL]);
passwordXML = ([login to view URL]);
endMonthXML = ([login to view URL]);
endDateXML = ([login to view URL]);
endYearXML = ([login to view URL]);
if ((emailBM == emailXML) & (passwordBM == passwordXML)) {
var todaysDate:Date = new Date();
UTCmonth = (([login to view URL]()+1));
UTCdate = ([login to view URL]());
UTCyear = ([login to view URL]());
if ((UTCyear<endYearXML) || (UTCyear == endYearXML & UTCmonth<endMonthXML) || (UTCyear == endYearXML & UTCmonth == endMonthXML & UTCdate<=endDateXML)) {
getURL("members1234/[login to view URL]");
timesUp = false;
userString = null;
} else {
timesUp = true;
userString = null;
}
} else {
userString = [login to view URL];
}
}
}
if ((userString == null) & (timesUp == true)) {
gotoAndStop("expired");
} else if ((userString == null) & (timesUp == false)) {
gotoAndStop("first frame");
} else {
gotoAndStop("try again");
emailBM = "";
passwordBM = "";
[login to view URL] = true;
}
};
//end of if(success) function
}
//end of [login to view URL]
It should be V ERY simple to do this - please only respond if you UNDERSTAND this code and KNOW how to build in this aspect.
Many thanks! Fiona
