which server are you using at present. I advise you to opt for hostgator or godaddy. site canbe migrated without affecting seo easily so dont worry about that. i have been developing and hosting websites on various servers including godaddy hostgator, bluehost, fatcow etc and well aware of cpanel which is used to manage website on these server. all i need is access to both the web server and if domain is registered on any other site then i need access to domain control panel also so that name server can be updated. transfer process can take 30 mins to 5 hours depending on size of your website.
