The goal is this:
This is primarily a WEB SCRAPING job with a SQL db to store the info a GUI that organizes and displays.
I run a small youth hostel. I want to watch other hostels to keep an eye on prices, occupancy, and ratings. This information can be scraped from one of two websites. With this information, all other calculations can be done to display additional data ( for example: occupancy * number of beds * days in a month * price for each room type = expected monthly income )
I would like to be able to add new cities that each has different properties I would like to track.
So I will need to be add a GROUP ( ie: a CITY ) and then add PROPERTIES to that group.
EXAMPLE: A city I add will be Washington DC. I will then add properties to that city such as DC Hostel, Downtown Hostel, etc.

The scraper MUST be able to scrape data from the following two booking engines ( which booking engine it pulls from will be defind by the user at the time of Property setup ):

If the "Data Source" selected is Hostel International, then the website for that property will be entered in the following format:

Example:

The "HW" ( or HostelWorld ) link, comes in the following format:

Milestones will be as such:
1/4 of project price for working prototype ( add properties, add cities, automatic scrapes, data displayed for two different cities and two different properties properly )
1/4 of project once all GUI sections are properly functioning, ability to download reports is operational, adding properties and marking as "active" / "inactive" is operational
1/2 of project once software is installed and proven to be operational on my own server ( this includes the database itself, the cron job for automatic scraping, GUI, and all above features etc ) and the code is VERY WELL DOCUMENTED! It is VERY important that the code be WELL WRITTEN and WELL COMMENTED!!!
