Project Description: We are a company looking for a Virtual Desktop Specialist to help us select the right supplier and configure virtual desktops at the lowest possible cost per user. We currently use Office 365 and Azure within our company and are considering using Azure Virtual Desktop. Still, we are open to suggestions for other suppliers, such as Amazon, Cisco or VM. The successful bidder will advise us on the right supplier and configure virtual desktops to ensure we get the lowest price per user. We require 20 development PCs (mainly visual studio), five 3D machines (rendering 3D models), 15 SEO machines (mainly googling and Office 365), and five content machines (mainly Office 365) for our Development office. In addition, we require shadowing and easy-sharing features for our virtual desktops. To compare proposals, bidders must provide the lowest monthly costs they can configure for the virtual desktops we require. It would be a big plus if you could also set up Sharepoint, Office 365, and Azure for us. This will result in additional projects. Requirements: Virtual desktop specialist experience Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Amazon, or VM Expertise in configuring virtual desktops Ability to provide the lowest possible cost per user for virtual desktops Experience with shadowing and easy sharing features Bonus: Experience with setting up Sharepoint, Office 365, and Azure. IMPORTANT NOTE: To consider your proposal, please include your estimated total monthly price for configuring the virtual desktops so that end users can work efficiently on a good working machine. We need a monthly cost from you to compare proposals and choose the best option. Therefore, providing this information is crucial, and any proposal that does not include a monthly cost will not be considered. Please make sure to highlight this information in your proposal.

I have been dealing with Azure Virtual Desktop since the product was born and it was still called Windows Virtual Desktop. I have expertise in Citrix VDI and VMWare and have been involved in virtualisation for about 15 years. I am also a certified productivity expert and deal with O365. If necessary, I can also provide references. Generally an AVD project can take from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the amount of customisation you want to implement and the type of applications you want to deploy. An assessment phase is certainly necessary to decide together how to build the application. generally my rate is 40$/hour but we can discuss this too
