Data Analytics

For an internal initiative, we are looking for a freelancer (4-6 week engagement only) with data analytics capabilities. o Education o MBA + Engineering OR o MBA + Bachelor’s degree in Computers, Maths, Economics, Finance / accounts o IT background o Experience in statistical analytics software’s like SAS, R, SPSS o Experience in visualization software’s like Tableau, Watson Analytics o Visual Basic coding o Hands-on with SQL Database for Importing, extracting, cleaning of data o Processing data through MS access, excel & SQL server o Total experience o 4 - 8 years o Key competencies o Ability to analytically solve complex client problems, applying and administering analytical/modeling tools and techniques and drawing managerial insights through statistical techniques and predictive modeling o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions o Adept in forecasting, regression analysis o Ability to aggregate, structure, retrieve, interpret and analyze very large data set o Capabilities to develop relations between data, develop and test hypothesis, independently solve problems, produce critical insights o Experience across project cycle with understanding client requirements, scoping & end-to-end delivery o Sector experience in BFSI, FMCG, Real estate, TMT, Automobile etc. o Prior experience in consulting, business intelligence, data analytics firms o Good written and verbal communication skills o Understanding of basic financial and business terminology / concepts o Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
