Remixing a green-screen music video in a 3D set.

I need a video editor to re-edit a music video that was mostly done on green-screen in 2D into the single's remix from 2:46 to 3:49 in a 3D virtual set. I've got like nine hours of footage, but you would be receiving pre-selected material, not the raw tapes. The real problem is that the video was shot in DV with decent but not perfect lighting, so a few shinny white hats and a couple green reflections become troublesome here and there. Here's where the animation and After Effects skills come in handy to cover a little bit the quality loss. Especially since the ambience in the video is that of a ghost town, so the characters may be blured, made transparent and "smoked on" a little, which would help too. You may work in HD, but I understand the quality won't measure up, so a DV sized video would be handed in too. The only extra footage that may be shot in HD to make up a little bit for the DV is that of the sniger, but by the editor request, if he thinks he could make it work better with i. It's not necessary. What I'm going for is that moving camera in a crowded bar trying to follow the singer's story, and catching on all of the other characters' action on the way feeling. All of the footage being shot from the front, no angles, it would make the 3d modelling very obvious, and that's okay. It would be in like a Paper Mario adaptation into a ghostly plain kind of way, or a Scissor Sister's I Don't Feel Like Dancing kind of video. I'm open to creative inputs. I can send You Tube links to the green-screen halfway-version, the master video and to the remix first so you can evaluate the project's callenges up front and tell me what would your approach to it would be. Footage over and animation and beneath After Effects would probably be the safest way to go.
