I fulfil all your selection criteria and this is the perfect project for me! I am an Australian human rights and contracts lawyer, currently finishing a contract in Mozambique, as an advisor ('inspirator') on human rights advocacy and campaigning strategies for a strategic partner organisation of ActionAid Mozambique with the ActionAid International People4Change program. While I am completing this contract, I am only available to work up to 15 hours a week. However, from 6th June, I will be available to work with you full-time for up to 40 hours a week, remotely from Mozambique and South Africa until around the end of June, then remotely from Brazil until the end of September, when I might return to Australia (Sydney or Melbourne). I have constant, fast internet access here that´s good enough for Skype.
I have been admitted as a lawyer in Australia since 2002 and have 8 years´ paid work experience as a lawyer, contracts manager and legal advisor in Australia and Mozambique in the NGO, education and corporate sectors. I have also worked as a paralegal and legal secretary for 7 years in Australia and UK. For 14 years I have been a passionate volunteer in Australia, Brazil, Rwanda and Thailand for many international and local NGOs, including Anistia Internacional Brasil, Street Child United, Street Child World Cup, the documentary 'Corridors of Children', Children United, ASSIST-Rwanda, Never Again Rwanda, World Vision Australia, Amnesty International Australia, RACS.
