PROJECT DETAILS: Project Description: If we own a car, auto insurance is not just an option, it is a legal necessity. Esurance provides property, liability and medical coverage. Esurance competes with other major players like Progressive, GEICO USAA, Allied etc. in the US. Esurance Inc. is an American auto insurance provider, who focuses only on 4 wheeler automobile insurance. The company is owned by Allstate Corporation, sells car insurance direct to consumers online and over the phone offering services to nearly 90 percent of the U.S. population in 37 states. Esurance is making car insurance smarter from quote to claim. Their innovative approach to car insurance means customers can take advantage of affordable rates, great discounts, and helpful product features like online repair monitoring. Esurance has an exclusive development team in California. The verification and validation is responsibility of CSC India. Platform Conversion, State Rollout, & Program Migration All the three processes are carried out simultaneously. Basically there are four applications CSFS, ISA, Customer XPM, CSR XPM & NPA. A major conversion is happening with regard to look and feel from ASP to .Net. Some state specific functionality is added in every release. Esurance is releasing NPA, a web based Auto insurance application for various states and CSC QA team will engage in independent validation of the project. CSC QA Team will certify the quality of the application with various test metrics. Roles and Responsibilities:  Involved in end to end testing for all the Change Request.  Design & Plan Test Scenarios for Various types of testing such as Unit, System, Integration, Functional, Regression  Design & Execution of Test Cases, Analyzing Results  Understand the Requirements and discuss with Development team on the design & solutions for the relevant Change Request.  Prepared the Requirement Traceability Matrix for every Major and Minor Release in Esurance.  Test Suit & Test Script Execution for weekly patch release.  Design & Execution of Test Cases, Analyzing Results for every release & Patch Deployment.  Defect tracking & Reporting  Test data Preparation (Prior data setup & Post Implementation  RCA & Causal Analysis report Preparation on release basis.  SME for (Subject Matter Expert) for Property & Causality Insurance.  Sending status to client on a daily basis and attending Daily On-Call.  Attending meetings with offshore managers.
