I am writing a program but I lack the knowledge of RTF strings. I need to read from MS ACCESS file some records and display in RICHTEXTBOX using a specific Arabic Font. The font is not one of the widely used fonts and therefore must use RTF format to preserve the integrity of the text. I tried to save the word file to RTF format to see the string but it gets very confusing because I don’t understand the RTF commands. I was able to display the records in the required font but with some incorrect characters. I will include a JPG file showing how the incorrect characters in the RICHTEXTBOX.
Pre-requisite:
1. Working knowledge in VB net 2012, RTF 1.5.
2. Extensive knowledge of true RTF 1.5
3. Arabic Language
Requirements:
1. A SUB to read MS Word file and storing it to MS Access. The Length of a record in the WORD file varies but always ends with a hard carriage return. A sample word file and the font used will be provided.
2. Main program will read entire contents of MS ACCESS file created in the previous step (SELECT * FROM), call sub in the next step one record at a time to display. The string containing RTF commands will be defined in the main program.
3. A SUB with at least two arguments (byval str as string, byval RTFSTRING as string) where str is one record from the access file to be written to the RICHTEXTBOX and RTFSTRING is the string containing the RTF commands.
Attachments:

3. [url removed, login to view] font file used in the word file and should also be used in the RICHTEXTBOX and should also be in the argument list of the displaying the text to RICHTEXTBOX.
The two SUBS can be either subs in a program or each in a separate CLASS, but not in the same CLASS.
