At Scram Software, we recognize that cyber security is a growing problem for businesses and for the world. There are many threats, from hacking and sabotage, data theft, or deletion.
We are building a range of security applications that businesses can use to protect themselves: secure backups, file sync, encryption. All our applications feature privacy by design and default.
We are looking to grow our team of strong programmers to join our mission to develop this world-changing software.
You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating internationally with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality, reliable software applications. You'll develop mostly in Python to help us release our range of cross-platform products and services.
The successful applicant will have:
* Strong understanding of Python 3 in a professional development environment
* Experience with UI design and implementation using PyQT and model-view programming
* Strong skills in Object Oriented design and programming
* Understanding / experience with cloud APIs, REST programming
* Strong computer science background, general UNIX, TCP/IP technologies
* Strong English and communications skills
We favour candidates with professional experience, and who can offer 30+ hours/week.
If successful, you'll be working on a cross-platform codebase written in Python that integrates cryptography, user interfaces, filesystems and cloud storage.
