Your goal is to develop a tiny application, which opens a MIDI file, presents the user with existing channels in the loaded midi file, and lets the user to change channel numbers and permanently save the changes to file on disk. MIDI editing is not needed, only remapping of channels. As a result, to test that your software works well, I will use it to open a MIDI file which contains two channels data on channel numbers #0 and #1, and I will want to assign those channels to different channel numbers (#3 and #4). Then I will want to save the new MIDI file and load it to my piano keyboard. You can write the software in any C-like language, like C, C++, or C#. You will provide source codes and compiled exe application.

More than ten years of experience with C++ programming with Visual C++ and Delphi programming with Borland Delphi. Developed skills in the utilization of Win API including multithreading, core objects. Utilization of VCL, STL, MFC, GDI, DirectDraw and DirectSound. I know software design patterns and use them in my work. I have experience on development of digital sound processing algorithm to decode FSK encoded data.
