I run pure Expressions Jewelry and Makeup. It's a business that I started to help victims if domestic violence, I hope to make it a nonprofit organization. I want the store to fund the shelter. Also my program details is where it gets interesting. Why because my program is a 3 yr program it is designed to heal, educate, and retrain their way of thinking. My program breaks the cycle for themselves, but ends the cycle for their kids because the see Mom is finally settling boundaries and learning to create an income to sustain them. Having the freedom to make her own choices. Not only do I address and help them understand why they think this is normal and give them the fundamental s to start to reprogram the way they think as as well as actively show them why the current way ihas a negative effect that keeps us trapped and if we just loklat a few key elements, the positive will shine and we actually learn and grow.
In my program we save money by training those who graduate each stage, to then mentor the ones who come in, and it will be written in their program details. We will also train graduates to handle intake calls and the stages of women just coming in will go through. We will have to hire a few phycologist and therapist, getting back new girls coming in will stay for 2 wks. They will meet their counselor, have a basic physical doneband be matched with a mentor. In this 2 wks they will not be allowed to kealethe grounds. They will have an area where everything they need will be available. Their phone is turned in and they are given a loaner phone they can keep them sleep with them but they won't have the ability to contact their abusers and family is only allowed to connect, after the two weeks they will move into the community living quarters where they will be working on a class program, heeling, and various other fundamentals. They will
after 6 mths will move in w their mentors and basic every skills will be shown and practiced, from home rc, to budget money and time. But working and taking care of themselves learning coping skills.
