This is a unique position looking for a special person. Generic applications, and those that appear to be automated, will probably not stand out, so we encourage you to address all the points for this position in your application. We are an Australian company that provides after-market parts for European vehicles, and we're looking for a virtual assistant to help us grow our on-line store of car parts by identifying new products that are of interest to our customers. Our customer base is predominantly the Australian market and we focus on European car makes such as Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo and Porsche. As the successful candidate for this position, you are able to dedicate 25 - 40 hours a week towards helping to identify car parts that are missing from our site, writing product descriptions, providing additional information to existing product descriptions & assisting our team with day to day tasks. You have an attention to detail and are well organised, making you the first person to notice that we don't sell brake rotors for the Mercedes W124, there are a number of cooling system products missing for the Golf III. Or, a clutch master cylinder is in our ‘Brakes’ category. When applying for this position, please confirm the number of hours you are able to work a week, and your hourly rate. Also, we love our euro cars as much as you do, so tell us a bit about your passion in vehicles, and why you'd be great for this position. We will work closely with you to ensure that you understand the process and feel supported.

Hi there! Wow talk about coming across my perfect job! I LOVE cars and have done since I can remember. I live in the UK and have owned and driven pretty much all the brands you specialise in such as VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes etc. I spent 2 years working for Volkswagen at a showroom as a sales consultant too so have a great understanding of the brand and the passion VW owners have for their cars! Having only recently sold my Audi TT - again I added a few "extras" to it and so had literally been searching as a customer would for parts for that - I love scouring the web and finding new and exciting products! A few other interesting facts about me are that I have lived in Monaco for a year and again LOVE the Formula 1, have done my advanced driving qualification, motorbike licence, numerous track days and have also owned a Lotus Exige S which was mind-blowingly fast! I have a good car knowledge base myself and know a lot of sites both large and small where I can get lots of information and product ideas from. I am also interested in tuning companies, that provide their own line/lines of products that could also be incorporated into the site? I am able to commit to a certain 25hrs per week for sure at present at a rate of $21 US Dollars an hour ($525 US Dollars per wk) & am available to get going as soon as possible. I have a good internet set-up at home and am proficient in e-mailing, reporting, writing attractive product descriptions and also have a keen eye for detail.

I was a pro racing driver on Go Karts till my 14 years old. 2 years on A class (Mercedes W124, BMW E36, E46) cars till my 17 years. When I have a free time usually I'm in my garage upgrading, replacing parts on my cars. I like to do different DIY projects on car forums and I usually do group buys for forum members. I always do parts research on different web sites like Rockauto, EUparts, Bimmian, but only for european cars. I'm a student at business school and I have part time job as a Manager at Tuning garage. I love cars as long as I remember myself. Very interested to help to grow your business and be part of your team! For now, salary is not a priority for me. I perform my own car repairs, and are currently restoring a 1964 Datsun 320 Ute, which requires purchasing parts from all over the world, rebuilding mechanical and body parts.
