You are required to review the literature on any THREE (3) Operations Management discussion topics covered in this course using various academic journals, periodicals, books, reports and website information. Write a 2000 word reflective report providing a critique (detailed analysis) on these three topics – such as describing the activities, issues, empirical findings and trends faced in operations management; application to real situations, and their importance to supply chain management. The topics that should be chosen are Topics 2 to 10 from your Study Guide. This assignment requires you to use a minimum of TEN (10) sources of references including at least SIX (6) academic journal articles. The method of referencing is the Harvard Referencing system within context. An omission to include six journal articles or incorrect use of the Harvard referencing system will result in a failure for the Referencing component (worth 10 marks). Most of the references should be within last the 10 years. Format – the argument will be presented in essay format and will have introduction, discussion (body) and conclusion sections. At the end of the conclusion, you need to provide your learning outcomes.
