Dear,

I am starting my BI knowledge with Pentaho and Postgresql and want to create a template for future delivery in a course.

My project is as follows: I have a spreadsheet with 153 columns. These columns are several variables of the lottery results.

For example: Rows are the results sorted by date, from the 1st draw to the last.

Columns are such variables for draws, such as: Tens, Tens + 1, Tens-1, Standard Deviation, Average, Median, Ten_Main and Minor, Ten_Superior and Lower, etc.

With these data I want to have the information: How likely is the first number drawn to be between 01 to 15; Of the second being between 5 and 27; etc. Here I am having trouble creating the tool. How to design such results and or possibilities. Was it the fact table?

Answering your questions:

1-Have you already created the dimensional model?

A .: With such 153 columns I have already created 153 dimensions, the PKs being the number of drawings 1,2,3, ..., n. I do not know if I did it correctly.

2-If yes, what is the volumetry of the data (number of dimensions, records in fact, cubes, etc.)?

As I said, 153 dimensions. No fact. No cube.

3-Will you only integrate with the PDI, or will you create cubes and present data in C-Tools?

A .: I want integration, creating cubes, and C-Tools, I need your guidance.

4-Do you have the environment installed (PDI, Schema Workbench, BI Server)?

A .: PDI and BI-Server already installed. I'm about to install Mondrian (workbench).

I hope I have detailed and clarified your doubts about the project.

I await an answer.
