Successfully run a program I have on a VPS 24/7

I currently have a program that functions well on my own computer. I however want to have this run 24/7 and i do not have it to run on my own computer ( battery and electricity issues).
I have attempted to have this run on a VPS, however every time i try to run it 24/7 it is unsuccessful. Here are the reasons why i believe that is the case:
1. The program has a mouse and keyboard movement to simulate human movement. When the program is placed in the VPS, the coordinates change. ( this can be fixed easily i think)
2. As soon as i disconnect from the RDP of the VPS, the user is logged out and the program stops running. It stops running likely because it doesn't detect any mouse or keyboard anymore since i'm not connected anymore.
I'm sure there is a solution to this, and for someone who knows how to do this it would likely be very easy for them.
My thoughts are that some sort of emulator would be needed to emulate that the mouse and keyboard are still in the server even though im not connected to it anymore.
