Sourceview is already connected with bitbucket. We use sourceview to track the code in bitbucket and pull to the local depository for local dev. However, sourceview is not working properly. The build files are also tracked. All these should be skipped. We need to you help us to fix the related issues so that the code can be pulled from bitbucket server while skipping all unnecessary files such as compile files. Further, we need you to illustrate how to use sourcetree or other tools to see version control result. For example, how to compare file differences in different commits. Pls do it using remote control software such as teamviewer or ammy admin

hello if you place the file in .gitignore, then those files will not be tracked or pulled from the repository. graphical tools like source tree etc give you the diff capabilites to check the differences between the files in commits.
