We have a website ([login to view URL]) that the vast majority of its pages are static. Only the "Blog" session that is dynamic, has an administration to register the articles.
This administration was done with the PHP programming language, using the Slim framework and the MySQL database.
We need to make some improvements in this blog.
Here are the improvements:
1. Cloud tags (most themes)
There will be a separate Tags registry of the post register. In the registration of Tag will be registered a phrase, just a phrase. In the register of the post will have a field "Tags" that when typing will search in the registration of Tag and the administrator can select the tag previously registered. You can link more than one tag in the same post, separated by a comma (similar to the WordPress function, attached in this project to an "[login to view URL]" image).
Somewhere on the site will display this tag relationship in the "clouds" format. Where tags that have more posts linked to it will have a larger font attached in this project "[login to view URL]").
2. Title and description in the register
Leave manageable in the form of the post the Title information and Description of the post
3. Contact form option
Just an IF, a contact form already exists on the site service pages, usually on the side (below the side menu) or at the end of the content. In the blog register would have a "View form contact" checkbox, if it was selected for that news would have an "include" form.
4. Generate thumbnail of the featured image
Today in the register it is necessary to select 2 images. One for the thumbnail and one for the article page. What we need to do is, in the blog register the client select only one image (which in the great majority of times is giant and non-standard because the client has no knowledge to treat image). After the user selects the image of his computer, the system will make an area with the predefined size on the image selected by him, so that the administrator can choose the area that will be used of his image, following a predefined ratio (similar when we upload a new profile photo on Facebook). After the administrator selects the area, the system will crop the photo in the selected area, generating the image from within the post and the thumbnail (attached in this project "[login to view URL]").
5. ** Desirable - Full friendly urlMaybe Slim has a way to do this in a simpler way than it was on the current site. This is why I am putting it as "desirable" and not a "prerequisite", to be analyzed if we can apply it by leaving the code clean.
Today the friendly url works only on one level, ideally it works on "N" (as long as they are needed). Example: The URL of the page "Security Patrimonial" is [login to view URL], it should be [login to view URL] Another example plus level (that escapes of the site of Cadiz, just example) [login to view URL]
