Monitor email, post REST service, call a java program

I have over 4 years experience working with Java, Restful services, Maven and Jenkins. I understand the requirement and can deliver the solution in 3 days.

Hi there, The requirements are quite clear and straightforward to implement. The service will connect to mailbox with imap and listen for the incoming emails. When an email is received it'll scan the body for the designated keywords. If there's a match it'll post those keywords to REST API and then call the mentioned java program with the response it got back. You've tagged php in the skills section so I guess you want this to be created in php. However, if you actually prefer this to be run as a windows service I can use c# to implement it as well. I guess you don't require a GUI. So I think a simple json file to configure the keywords, and possibly other things like mail server, REST API credentials, java path, ect., would be enough. I can get it ready for you to test in 3 days at most. If you prefer c# please let me know if there's any specific .net version you want to target, thanks.

Hi What doese the java program do and how will it be called?? (assuming the java program already exists) Will it be on the same system? Whick language do you want this app to be in? Do you need a web app or native for windows 10?? Web apps availability will be 24X7 where as the native app will be active as long as the system /internet is up.
