Magento 1.9. - Layout changes in "Category" needed

In Magento's backend one can add a "custom layout" to a category, this is what we need. We would like to be able to change the view of our main category's landing pages. Right now, upon opening the landing page [login to view URL] you'll see this: Nr. 1 - four links (with images) leading to the respective subcategories = "[login to view URL] landing-page nested-container" Nr. 2 - describing text below In Magento Backend under "Categories" it is possible to choose whether to display "static blocks and articles" or "static blocks only". Our problem is, when choosing "static blocks and articles", all articles appear on top, even above Nr.1 (links). When choosing display "static blocks and articles" this will be the order of appearance: Nr. 1 - articles of the category Nr. 2 - four links (with images) leading to the respective subcategories = "[login to view URL] landing-page nested-container" Nr. 3 - describing text below This is not what we want! We want to see the following order of appearance: Nr. 1 - links to the respective subcategories Nr. 2- articles of this category Nr. 3 - text below The articles must be wedged between links and text. We do not want general changes in [login to view URL] - all changes should be performed in Magento's backend in the respective category by adding an additional custom layout there. This way we can control in which category to add the custom layout.
